I have been a beekeeper for 4 years now using wooden hive bodies and the main issue I have with wood-ware, is the weight towards the middle of the season. 50+ pound boxes wear on your body, especially with terrible handles. The apimaye boxes are a significant improvement in ergonomics and, for that reason alone, I will be switching over all of my wooden hive bodies for apimayes over the next couple years!
Two years ago I found out about Apimaye and over the course of the past two years I have been converting all my wooden hives to these. They are just amazing, easy to work with, the full hives come with everything you need…i love these and am a convert for life.
